Population Article Analysis Criteria
Here is the criteria for the Article Analysis due on Wednesday. We will discuss them in class, and you will also have a question on your quiz on Friday about a current event relating to demography. You will have to be able to summarize your article.
CRITERIA:

- 5-7 Key points from article - -either highlighted, or written out if you don't bring in the article
- Clear thesis statement from article
- Your opinion on the thesis statement
- Explanation of how the article connects to content in the course relating to population patterns, trends and current issues.
- POSSIBLE TOPICS:
- One-Child Policy
- Gendercide
- Population Control and Projections
- Forced Sterilization, Infanticide in India/China
- Issues relating to education/rights of women to deal with population control
- Population + Resource Availability
