Appeasement & Road to War
Today's class was a partner assignment that used our class notes + text pages in Chapter 5 to map out Hitler's Steps to War and the policy of appeasement that was used in response to his actions.
Here is a copy of the assignment - it was handed in and will be assessed by Ms. Sawatsky before next class - the focus will be on the chart laying out the reasons FOR and AGAINST appeasement as a policy used by Chamberlain & the Allies.
NOTE: The cartoon 'Order of Events' handout given in class will be on the quiz -- some of the events will have to be placed in order using the images.
HOMEWORK: to review the reasons for appeasement handout in more detail to prepare for quiz next monday.
