Holocaust

Today's class focused on the events of the Holocaust - our last case study in our review of the tragedies of World War Two. 2 sheets of notes were given out, and we used scenes from Episode 9: Band of Brothers as our primary visual for the lesson. Topics of discussion:

• How would the soldiers who discovered the Nazi concentration/extermination camps in Germany have been affected by this experience? They are also victims of war/trauma.
• If we had been living in Germany during this time, would we have had the capacity to stand up against the Nazis and defend the human rights of others
