Cold War Conflicts: Summary

We have spent the past two weeks examining Cold War conflicts, and the changing nature of warfare.  We examined:

• The ways in which the Cold War was fought 
• Propaganda and role of space/tech/etc.
• Proxy Wars
• Canada's changing identity - and increasing autonomy during the Cold War era

Here is a video clip that we watched in class that outlines the role that Lester Pearson played in negotiating the ceasefire in the Suez Crisis.  Watch the first 9 minutes.

Here is the chart that we have been using to track our Cold War conflicts.  A completed version of this will be due on Monday, May 27th and will be assessed.
