Debate!
Excellent work today -- our debates got off to a fantastic start. If you missed today's class, we received a package on the structure of government, as well as the Legislative process for passing a law. It will be very helpful for you in studying for the Unit Test.
NOTE: Next day we will finish the debates and that will take most of the class. We will also review the bill-making process and some of the vocab terms.
Wednesday -- we will have a very brief quiz on the Vocab Terms from the previous class -- see post on September 27th with the terms in bold. You will also need to know the difference between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the government. It will be roughly 10-15 marks - short answer and term identification questions.
We will review the role of the House of Commons as well as the Senate next week.
