Charter of Rights and Freedoms

Hello everyone, It's a busy day with Thanksgiving coming up, but here is the summary of the last two classes. 1. We wrote the quiz last class on the terms of Structure of Government -- these quizzes will be reviewed on Wednesday of next week. The quizzes are marked if you would like to see how you did beforehand. 2. We finished off the debates 3. We began looking at the Senate and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms HOMEWORK --- IS TO COMPLETE THE HOMEWORK ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS. USE THIS BOOKLET TO HELP YOU. For today's class, we reviewed the Charter in the booklet, and examined the chart on page 330 in the text. We also discussed the Keegstra Legal Case regarding the limits on our Freedom of Expression. We also got a Unit Outline to help you prepare for the Unit Test next Friday, October 18th. Please ensure that the booklet is complete for next day's review class, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
