The War Spreads...
Today's lesson focused on a review of the initial WWII battles in Western Europe, and then an explanation of how it expanded into new realms of conflict. We reviewed:
- Blitzkreig
- Phony War - Denmark
- Dunkirk
- Battle of Britain and the Blitz
We then moved on to expert group presentations of the following topics:
1. Operation Barbarossa - and Stalingrad
2. The War in the Pacific - Hong Kong
3. Dieppe
4. Battle of the Atlantic
5. Battle in the Skies
It is important that you read all of the handouts that were given out today, and that you are fully prepared for the quiz coming up next week Wednesday/Thursday. The quiz will be up to D-Day.
