Victory in Europe!
How did the war in the European and North African theatres come to a close? Today's lesson focused on the events of D-Day, and how that led to the eventual collapse of the Axis powers in Europe. Our three main topics of study in the powerpoint were Dieppe, the Italian campaign, and the Normandy Invasion. Your test next day will consist of everything from the causes of WWII up to the fall of Berlin. In particular you should know everything between pgs. 100-119.
