Road to War

Today we started our exploration of World War II.  Last day we did a brief overview of the conflict, and briefly discussed the movie the Pianist, that we watched together in class.  Today's class focused on the causes of World War II, and included a study of this powerpoint.

Homework for next day is to complete the Road to War cartoon, and then create a paragraph that discussed your opinion on Appeasement.  You must pretend that you are Chamberlain, and are forced to determine a course of action regarding Hitler's aggression.  The outline for the paragraph is on the Notes Handout.
