WELCOME TO SOCIAL STUDIES 10!

 Hi there folks, and welcome to Socials 10.  We will use this blog as a place to recap our lessons, and where all your powerpoints and files will be uploaded.  You will need to check this blog on a regular basis, as well as Microsoft Teams. 

For this course, each 'week' will generally have a different theme or series of topics that we will be exploring.  

The focus of Week 1 was on the idea of Place, Land and our Local Communities.   You completed a Land Acknowledgements assignment and explored some of the ways in which people connect with the natural environment. 

The focus for Week 2 continued with out study of Human Geography, and we looked at Demography (the study of population), as well as Migration.  

At the end of each week, I will upload course materials and resources to help you study for the Assignments and Assessments.
