OVERVIEW Week 1. European Theatre: Hitler Expands - 1939-1942

Welcome to our first week of "pandemic schooling".  We will be continuing our study of WWII, by taking a closer look at the events of the European Theatre.   Our first week of study will focus on the first three years of World War II - 1939-1942.  This was a time of massive and rapid expansion of Nazi Germany across Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, and even into North Africa.  Next week, we will examine how the "tide turns", and how and why Hitler lost the war in Europe.
